Planning your in person visit
Services time // Sundays 10:30 am
Due to the current landscape we are facing with the reality of COVID-19, we are taking every step possible to ensure that the physical health and safety of our church and our community are protected as well as the emotional and spiritual. Because of this, there are some pretty significant changes that have been made to how our in person services are conducted. Here is a list of important things you need to know before joining us in person for worship on a Sunday morning.
Due to the public Wellington-Dufferin Public Health we are not able to sing during our indoor services in person. This is giving us a great opportunity to explore the deeper and wider understanding of what it means to worship God. We promise you that while not singing is not ideal, our Sunday experiences are no less worshipful than they were before. If you really do want to sing however, there is still a worship in song set at the end of every Church Online experience that you can participate in from your home.
Masks are Strongly Recommended
Wellington-Dufferin Public Health has not made masks mandatory in churches, however, for the safety of our volunteers, our community and yourself, we highly encourage everyone who is able to wear a mask while you make your way to your seat. Once you sit down it is more than okay to remove your mask for the duration of the experience until it is time to exit.
Physical Distancing is Required
Physical distancing of no less than 2 meters is required between all members of separate households while at the church building. This includes people who are in your social bubble unless you arrived and registered together. Seats are spaces apart in clusters in our auditorium and an online pre-registration ensures that we have enough seats in the correct configuration before people arrive. There will be more information on that below.
Worship Online if you are Feeling Unwell
If you are feeling unwell we ask that you would stay home and use the Church Online option to worship for the week. We would also love to pray for you, so call the church office during office hours, or email any of our staff. All prayer requests will remain confidential unless specified otherwise.
Resister Your Spot Online Before you Come
Please ensure you register for you and your household prior to coming to church on Sunday. Priority seating will be given to those who have pre registered and our services have been getting close to our current capacity. Click the button below to be go to our online registration service.
What Do I Wear?
Clothes. You will find many of us dressed casual, while others like to dress up. At Arthur Pentecostal Assembly, it's not about what you wear, about how many tattoos you have or how you look. It's about a faith journey. Your relationship with God is what is important. Seriously, come as you are.
Can I Come If I'm ___________ ?
Fill in the blank with whatever fear you have of not being accepted: divorced, single parent, broke, an addict, bi-racial, a skeptic, etc. Everyone is welcome at Arthur Pentecostal Assembly. We'll see you on Sunday!
What To Expect
When you come to Arthur Pentecostal Assembly, you can expect to be welcomed into a friendly, positive environment by people who genuinely are excited to see you. Our gatherings last about 75 minutes and are filled with music and include an inspiring, practical message from the Bible by one of our pastors.
Sundays will quickly become your family's favourite day of the week. Our age-specific lessons will ensure that your child has a ton of fun as they learn about Jesus. Our APA Kids team is committed to providing an environment that is safe, clean, and fun for your children while you enjoy the worship service. All of our kids leaders have been police checked and completed training.
